| New cat nail clippers |
Deciding that something cat-related would be good, I bought a new pair of nail clippers. Now we can leave one pair upstairs for Angel, and the other stays downstairs for Manny and Chili Bruce.

And I purchased these cute catnip-filled hearts too; pink for Angel, blue and green for Da Boyz.
Also visited the doc today; he was pleased with my progress, and they gave me a splint that I can remove to flex my hand a little. Not too much, he said, 'cause he doesn't want the wires to move around too much. If you aren't squeamish, here's this morning's xray:

ReplyDeleteOh no, your hand is a mess. It will take quite awhile to improve. I have had hand surgery. Let's see I had two knuckle replacements and 2 joints were fused. Then I was so happy with that, I got a wrist replacement. The fingers don't have pain but are difficult to use. The wrist is great. Can't complain. It's a long road but well worth it.

Happy belated hubby birthday! Sounds nice and low-key, just the way we like things. Dad's gonna go Monday to get one of those x-ray things on his ankle. He's been a little lame lately and they want to make sure there's no fracture or anything. Have an awesome weekend!!

ReplyDeleteYippee for good happy news on your hand, and for felty hearts, and yes, even for nail clippers. Our Mom insisted last week, all the rooms needed one pair of nail clippers so they wouldn't be tempted to use the excuse of having none handy. We're not sure we like that development.
