At my house my momma is all about books and kittehs. Her favorite series is The Cat Who... by Lilian Jackson Braun. Mom is from Michigan where that series is set, so it makes sense. Love yoor books and kitty memes! Love, Dori
I love that series too, and in the first book, there is a character named: George Bonifield Mountclemens III, and I live in the city of Mount Clemens, north of Metro Detroit! Not a coincidence, imho. I haven't re-read the series in a long time; it would be fun to do it again. My favorite was "The Cat Who Saw Stars" with a bit of UFO action. As you can tell by our logo, we KNOW cats are from outer space!!!
I haven't yet ventured into Discworld, although it's on my tbr list. I adore Neil Gaiman, and I've been told there is a similarity between the two writers.
Rene, I was at my library yesterday, and I demonstrated to the librarians how the Goodreads app on my phone 'reads' the cover of a book that I like, and it adds it to my tbr list. I add new books every time I'm in a library or bookstore. Nowadays, I only purchase books when the library doesn't have it!
We love all of these kitty readers and lovers of books! The housekeeper buys books from the thrift store so she can keep them! Library every once in a while..both sources of great smells! Meow!
