Wright Wednesday

As an aficionado of the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, the opportunity to tour The Westcott House Museum in Springfield, Ohio was much too good to pass up.

Westcott House was completed in 1904, and is a fine example of the Prairie Style.
Artified bird house at the front door.
Parlor
Dining Room
South Facade
To the motorcar garage
But wait!

There is MORE!

There are other FLW residences in the parts of Ohio we traveled, so we tried to do a few respectful drive bys:
Boulter House, 1954
Amberly, Ohio
Usonian Style
Gerald B.Tonkens House, 1954
Clifton, Ohio
Usonian Style
I wouldn't walk up the driveway; didn't want to be rude.
I've included links to websites for each building, in case anyone is interested in better photos.

Many thanks to my sister for driving the getaway car...so to speak..😹

  1. Frank Lloyd Wright certainly had his concept of houses. My uncle had a great photo book, you know the coffee table book, of all his buildings that he designed and had built. He gave me the book and I had it for years and it was amazing to look at. I've been lucky enough to see a couple.
