So grateful for discovering more new friends while traveling through my neighborhood.
A new window kitty!
Two White-tailed Deer, roaming around.
An American Toad on the sidewalk.
Video of a second American Toad, who I persuaded to get out of the center of the street.
Eastside Cats is only a couple of blocks from our city's downtown, so I'm always amazed when I encounter so many critters.
Have been walking in the early morning, when there isn't much sun but usually high humidity, and again around sunset.
Let's Hop!
Beautiful cat and deer. A lucky toad that you encouraged him out of harm's way.
ReplyDeleteGlad you showed up and got him to hop away before a car went over him. Always get so excited when I find one in my flower beds. But quite honestly they mostly stay over in the Wilderness Area so I don't see them too often.
ReplyDeleteWe have deer walking through yards and parks, calm and uncrushed; used to people and cities now, I imagine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful neighborhood so close to the city, but so full of wild life! Glad you got the toad out of the road ... hey, that rhymes!
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice bunch of interesting critters!!! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got him out of the street. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to have deer so close to downtown.
ReplyDeleteI hope the new window kitty proves friendly and good work getting the toad out of the street.
Always nice to make new critter friends!
