While moving furniture the other day, two more of Henry's spring toys were revealed.

Previous spring toy posts: 9/5/25: Bleep
8/31/25: Where?

But at any given time, one or more of them are missing.

Below is a count taken over a few days:
Henry, doesn't get what all the fuss is about.

The realization that it wasn't Henry hiding his toys, but rather we have too much stuff around, has led me to begin a re-org and rearrange project.

It won't happen overnight, Henry...sorry, but finding places for some stuff is a lot harder than it seems for humans.

One rule of thumb: if it's covered in dust, you don't need it anymore.

  2. It's funny the things that motivate us to get busy and start sorting out. And Henry evidently is the one for you.

  3. I would have written this post. Squeaker is our spring hider. She puts them under doors and then sits there until you open the door so she can retrieve them. Over and over.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  6. We have some of those spring toy, but they never come out since Nutmeg came. When she was younger, she tried to EAT them. Of course once they were covered with Dog Spit, we avoided them like the plague! Keep being AWESOME! Marvelous Marv

  12. I always figured the rule to be, if it's covered in dust, you'll need it tomorrow...
