Tree Latin

Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday in April in most of the U.S., to appreciate and care for trees.

Many organizations plant trees today.

Trees are crucial for our environment: produce oxygen, provide food and habitat for wildlife, reduce or eliminate soil erosion, and provides mental health benefits through urban green spaces.

We need them!

Learn more here: Arbor Day Foundation.

Tree in Latin is arbor.

Kensington Metropark, Shelby Township Michigan

Silver Maple, in Eastside Cats yard, Mount Clemens Michigan

Quickstad Park, Royal Oak Michigan

I love parks, especially because of the trees.

Henry Update:

A bit listless on Thursday, but he's eating.

HUGE amounts of deposits in the litter box, mostly peeballs.

He's got runny stool, which will hopefully dry up soon, as we attempt to settle down his intestines.
