April 18 is International No Declaw Day, because cats have four paws, with 18 nails.
We all know the drill: cat's paws need claws.
Full stop.
Don't do it.

Henry Update:
Paws crossed, the anti-nausea med has made a difference.
Friday morning, the full bowl of noms left overnight* was empty.
I put out his breakfast, and he ate it.
He ate the snack I put out (breakfast #2), then ate his dinner, and now licked up another snack.
Henry's become a gentle sweetie, tolerating a lot of handling with little collateral damage.
Keep on chowing down, dude, and we are all going to do a happy dance.
*We don't leave food out for any of the Eastside Cats normally, but rules were relaxed in an attempt to coax Henry to eat.

It's Caturday, and of course it's Henry's mug that I've artified with Prima's Jellyfish filter.

Let's Hop!

Hope that the new medicine will be of good help to get Henry eating well again. That Doxy stuff is awful...can he get some probiotics to help with the loose stools? POTP going to you in huge truckloads, sweetie!
ReplyDeleteI think you know by now my feelings on de-clawing cats!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the anti nausea meds are helping. I know because I take them, another side effect of immunotherapy!
Keep eating, Henry, we all love you!
