International Mother Earth Day

April 22 is International Mother Earth Day, or Earth Day for short.

"Libraries are uniquely positioned to act as catalysts for climate action by fostering social cohesion, an important factor in effectively responding to climate change impacts.

Through diverse programming — such as workshops that bring community members together, services that connect individuals with vital resources, and welcoming spaces that encourage interaction across social divides — libraries cultivate the collaboration and collective energy essential to turning climate action plans into reality.

Their presence generates the trust, buy-in, and partnerships necessary to drive meaningful environmental change." - EarthDay.org

The new combo of meds seem to be making a difference, and now we have a schedule (nicely typed up by the vet staff, thankuverramuch!)

Henry and I had a delightful nap together on Tuesday afternoon.

Clean Power

April 22 is World Earth Day

"Earthday.org’s founders created and organized the very first Earth Day on April 22, 1970.

Since then, Earth Day Network also known as EARTHDAY.ORG has been mobilizing over 1 billion people annually on Earth Day, and every other day, to protect the planet.

Earth Day’s 2025 theme is OUR POWER, OUR PLANET, calling for everyone to unite around renewable energy so we can triple clean electricity by 2030."

What On Earth?

22 April is World Earth Day, and we all want Mother Earth to remain happy, healthy, and okay with the stupid, polluting, and violent homo sapiens sapiens that live here, as well as all of the other species of flora and fauna.

Afterall, as far as we know, Earth is the only planet with cats!

As Earth is the only planet with cats that we know of, why are we treating her so very badly?

💕🌏🌎🌍💓

Last weekend, I visited one of my favorite locations, where one can breathe deeply, enjoy the wildlife, and look at the pretty Spring ephemeral flowers.
