While we are pleased to have no new stray/homeless cats in our yard, that doesn't mean I'm not out there looking for them:
Am thankful for our time as community cat carers, and will spring to action should any cat choose to hang about.

Yes, we used to sometimes have kitty visitors here, but no longer...in the past we had two broods of kittens even. LONG before the internet or blogging for me, LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe never get any visitors down here. When the houses a few fields away were a Naval camp cats used to often appear when the owners left them behind when moving to another base. It was sold for private housing 10-15 years ago so the pets are all valued and looked after now.
ReplyDeleteWe once had neighbors that moved away and left their two cats (brother and sister) behind.

It is our human responsibility to spay and neuter them but it seems there still are too many irresponsible people...
Hugs,
Mariette
That is really sweet and just as it should be too! Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED LOVED those pictures and they are like me as well. I am a blithering meowing fool with every cat I find and see. I LOVED that cat fleeing saying "noooo". and the smooch on the other cats forehead.
ReplyDeleteLove those first 2. :)
ReplyDeleteThe best humor is based on truth. :D I hope you and your husband are back to good health, my dear.
ReplyDeleteIf a stray cat is smart...it will find your yard!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure all the kitties you've cared for over the years have been most grateful.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any regulars who come to my food-bowls anymore; they've become occasionals - but at least they look healthy. I'm grateful for that.
ReplyDeleteLove that middle one.
