Happy Birthday, Steve Martin!

Comedian, actor, author, filmmaker, banjo-playing Steve Martin was born born August 14, 1945.

For some reason, the recording ends about half-way through!

During this pandemic, with the resulting political, social, and medical strife, we MUST laugh at the silly things in life.

Steve Martin has always been a 'go-to' for me, for giggles!

Of course, cats are worth laughter every day!

Manny hooked the pad with his claw, then turned over.
He was asleep and cared not for being half-covered.
That boy will do anything to make his humans smile!

Happy Birthday, Steve Martin!

I have enjoyed Steve Martin's humor and acting for years.
He's also a novelist and playwright, an award-winning banjo player, and an art collector.

My favorite movies of his:
"Leap of Faith" with Debra Winger and Liam Neeson
"My Blue Heaven" with Rick Moranis and Joan Cusack
"L.A. Story" with Sarah Jessica Parker
"All of Me" with Lily Tomlin

I enjoyed his novel, "An Object Of Beauty"

Am pretty sure no cats appeared in any of these productions, however that's no reason to not wish him a fine 74th birthday!

For your viewing pleasure, Steve Martin's infamous "Saturday Night Live" performance from 1978.
