Whacha lookin' at, kitty?
What do you do when your cat suddenly starts watching something behind you...but there's nothing there? You turn around, look for a bug or a dust mote. But you don't see anything. It's a bit creepy, no? Whacha lookin' at, kitty? A cat never tells.
My mom thinks it's something like The Boy Who Cried Wolf. My old bro Russell was the king of this trick, until one day Mom lifted up a basket on the floor to show him there wasn't anything there. There was. It was a centipede. It made Mom get all screamy because she does not like centipedes. (She finally trapped it in a jar and eventually drove it 7 miles away to release it. Yes, she *is* kinda weird like that.)
Meh. We do this sort of thing just to keep the hoomins on their toesies.
ReplyDeleteHaha, they do that a lot...I really wonder what they see! No, kitties never tell... :-)
