Although our back screen door is rated 'pet proof', The Hubby added a piece of nylon deer fencing for extra durability. Sure, it's not pretty, but the peace of mind that it brings is very impawtant!

ReplyDeleteThere used to be a type of screen in screen doors that was actually metal. Now, most of them are a plastic mesh that imitates the metal - at least to look at. I think any cat older than a few months could push through it if they tried. I think you did a wise things to reinforce the screen, whatever it is made of.
