Two-zday

A day in the life of Da Boyz, in a favorite beddy.

When we first moved into this house, The Hubby purchased a pool table for his entertainment.

I never have been able to play worth spit.

As time progressed, and Celestial Angel and Chuck came to live with us, the pool table became more of a cat playground than a place for human games.

Finally, The Hubby threw on an awfully ugly green cover, and other than one pool cue, no one would know that it was there!

We would like to get rid of the thing, but then we'd have to replace it with some other table-like thing, since it's a great place for cat antics.

The problem with getting rid of a pool table, is that there are two or three pieces of really heavy slate, and will need professional pool table movers.

So, how do you give away something that may cost the new owner a packet to have moved?

So, for now, Da Boyz have a ugly green playground.

And another online jigsaw puzzle for you!

  2. Our house came with pool and ping pong tables. I've never been good at either, so they've turned into storage space. ~shakes head~ The boys have the most lovely coats. It's obvious they get excellent care. ~nods~ Be well!

  5. The boys always snuggle so well together. They remind me of the way Eric and Flynn always snuggled together.

  8. Having just dissected the piano that was a hundred years old, I get it. No one wanted it. no one would even take it.

My worst memory of my best friend who I group up with, was that she got a kitten and I didn't. But FRISKY peed on their pool table over and over and over again. It stunk. I wish they had gotten rid of it. I am not saying that is the case.;;You would never let your cats be unhappy and using the table as a litter box.
I say cut it up. Or look on pinterest for pool table conversion ideas!!!

  9. I bet someone wanting a table would be willing to pay to have it moved, but as long as the kitties like it you might as well keep it. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  10. Oh it has a great and useful purpose right there. It's theirs and it's unthinkable to cause it to leave their home.

  11. When we bought the house before this one, the owners left a pool table in the basement. We never used it and it became a place to store stuff on top of. We finally gave it away to a young guy that worked for the hubby...the only caveat, he had to move it from the basement. He brought a few buddies and they managed to get that thing out.

  13. Ah, just what we needed two-day!

When mom bought her house, there was an incredibly gross hot tub on the patio. Happily, a colleague was interested in it, and he and his dad got it through the gate and out to the front. Then they realized what a piece of cr*p it was! Just then, a family from a different street saw it and offered to take it off their hands. (Those folks like to 'collect' stuff, so to speak, but hey! Everybody was happy!)

  16. Awww Da Boyz always make me smile with their adorable and sweet photos :-) My kitties have taken over many things that used to belong to humans. The pool table serving as cat playground sounds just right :-)

  18. We too have a pool table that previous owners left in the basement. Fortunately, it's the right size to fit hubby's model train layout on top. Win!
