Watermelon

3 August is National Watermelon Day!
Today's watermelon photoshoot was disappointing, while I enjoyed a huge slice!
However, using the GrucciP I filter in Painnt, this wild and evocative image was made from the blurry image above.  Click on it to enjoy a jigsaw puzzle.

And slurp some watermelon!

  3. Dearest Vicky,
Yes, and we owe it to the Dutch who introduced watermelon to The New Netherlands back then: https://www.facebook.com/CrailoStateHistoricSite/posts/pfbid09CFJzRTkMbrMK6qfYhZfxBiTxGvgxitsAqPE8hK8bJPER5pEU29Qf3YF28dhYd7jl

  4. I dislike all the pips in watermelon and am too lazy to dig them all out. I prefer honeydew or Galia melons.

  14. Watermelon in summer is as good as a refreshing breeze. Although the rule in our house is if you are under age 13 you must eat it outdoors in your swimsuit and hose off before you come in!
