For us working stiffs, Fridays are beautiful things:
AHHH!!!!
Me: "I've got my audiobook, my cup of tea, and am going to sink into my chair..."
Da Boyz: "HA! Our chair, thankuverramuch."
Me: *sigh*
The Hubby: "Come over here, and eat watermelon at the table."
Me: *tea and phone abandoned, slurping noises ensue.*
Me: AHHH!!!!
*Da Boyz and The Hubby look on in astonishment.*

Life is funny: even though "retired" like some twenty year (plus?) now ... I still look forward to Fridays! Like it matters?
ReplyDeleteCute little captions and I love every one of them. I am grateful I'm one of the retired people. But I still keep track of what day of the week it is and I look forward to the weekends for whatever silly reason
ReplyDeleteGreat funnies! I lose track of the days, and for some reason I am always convinced Friday is Saturday. We went to our butcher on Monday which he closes lunch time. I was convinced it was Tuesday and said to Ivor that it said the closing time is 5 pm so what is he playing at. He said that they do close at 5pm TOMORROW!
ReplyDeleteDearest Vicky,
ReplyDeleteLove that line from Da Boyz!
Watermelon SOUNDS right and you enjoyed it.
Hugs,
