Manny and Chili Bruce have been buddying up more and more, as the temps begin to drop.

Da Boyz are getting daily Virbac URSOLYX Soft Chew Supplements for muscle health, as recommended by their veterinarian.

She felt that although their weights are good, they could use a bit more meat on their bones.  

They enjoy their wee chewy nodules; Manny often eats his while still up on the fridge.

Chili Bruce promptly picks his treat up and runs off with it, to safeguard himself in a corner whilst he munches.

Da Chair

It's Twozday!

Manny and Chili Bruce continue to really enjoy sleeping on OUR chair.

Sometimes the lighting seems to make their fur appear shiny.

It's amusing that these two ruffians do not enjoy being brushed or combed, while former feral Henry can't get enough of the spa treatment.

Henry Update:

Henry consumes a HUGE amount of food these days, about three times the amount he'd usually get, so the vet suggested that I stop the appetite enhancer to see if he'll eat on his own.

If he does well, we'll stop the anti-nausea med.

It's Twozday!

Manny and Chili Bruce spend a lot of time on MY chair, and they never have the same positions:

Note: In this, the darkest, dreariest part of the year, it's difficult to get good pics of Da Boyz.

There just isn't enough light.

Using a flash only makes their fur shiny, and despite The Hubby breaking out his trusty (and wholly obnoxious) flashlight/torch, am often looking at dark blobs.

Have learned a few tricks to brighten the pics, which often leads to them being pixelated, and I get angry.

Could share photos taken in summer, but I prefer to offer posts with images that are current.

Manny and Chili Bruce continue to enjoy MY chair, whether I'm sitting in it or not.

Am not there, but they've taken over the ottoman.

AM there, and my leg is a pillow.

Yet when The Hubby is cooking up something in the kitchen, they awake in a blink to stand guard, hoping to cadge some morsel.

Which is funny 'cause we are vegan, and the only meat around here comes in cans.

The daytime temperatures have been wonderful recently, yet the overnights are cool, so Manny and Chili Bruce are doing a bit more tandem napping.

MY Chair...with a touch of hiss

Photographic proof that it's MY chair!

Chili Bruce became a lap cat awhile ago; he'd jump into my lap while I sat at the table.

Manny only recently joined the crowd...on MY chair.

However, CB gives his brofur a hiss or two sometimes, when they are sharing accomodations on my lap/legs, which sends one or the other away.

Really not sure what that is all about, but you know...cats!

Manny and Chili Bruce just take over my chair whenever they want to.

1) trying to sneak upstairs

2) watching out the open back door, which often includes Henry looking back in.

A funny thing about MY chair; it makes me sleepy!

No matter what time of day, a few minutes sitting there causes lots of yawns and lassitude.

Guess that's why Manny and Chili Bruce enjoy it so.

Thanks all for your well wishes after my small yellowjacket 'event' on Sunday.

Discovered at least two previously missed stings, yet with the correct timing of topical anti-itch cream, and antihistamine and pain tablets, I'm doing pretty well.

I've begged off from a couple of meetings, because wearing underthings is uncomfortable, but I couldn't bring myself to 'go commando' in public.

Working from home has worked out nicely for stung-up me!

Tuning In

It's Twozday!

Today's word: Togetherness.

On MY chair.

Flirting with Henry.

Henry is still very wary of humans, but she does well with Da Boyz through the screen.

Although we don't want to rush things, both The Hubby and I are not looking forward to Henry living outside this Winter.

As we had to do with both Celestial Sweetie and Paddy O'Malley, the drop trap will be our friend.

That being typed, Henry is so skittish that this process just may take awhile to accomplish.

For us working stiffs, Fridays are beautiful things:

Me: "I've got my audiobook, my cup of tea, and am going to sink into my chair..."

Da Boyz: "HA!  Our chair, thankuverramuch."

Me: *sigh*

The Hubby: "Come over here, and eat watermelon at the table."

Me: *tea and phone abandoned, slurping noises ensue.*

Me: AHHH!!!!
