Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for my siblings.

Our mother, aged 93, has needed extra attention recently, involving trips to Emergency, tests, overnight stays...you know the drill.

We have all made ourselves useful in way that we can, and the burden of care is spread out as much as possible.

There are upcoming doctor appointments, home health care, prescription pick up, etc.

Mom has lived independently since 2004, when our father passed.

Here is a montage of May Day cuties, from the 'hood; Spring is such a positive time of year.

Let's Hop!

  1. I am glad all the family is sharing the care of your mother. A lovely May Day montage. The bird with his stop start movements crossing the rod made me laugh!

  5. Thanks for the springtime video. Your mother is so fortunate to been able to live alone for the past 20+ years; though, I am certain she wishes your dad was still with her. And she is particularly fortunate to have so many loving children to care for her. She is blessed.
