Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for my siblings.

Our mother, aged 93, has needed extra attention recently, involving trips to Emergency, tests, overnight stays...you know the drill.

We have all made ourselves useful in way that we can, and the burden of care is spread out as much as possible.

There are upcoming doctor appointments, home health care, prescription pick up, etc.

Mom has lived independently since 2004, when our father passed.

Here is a montage of May Day cuties, from the 'hood; Spring is such a positive time of year.

In The Yard

Some more flora and fauna at Eastside Cats:
Polemonium reptans, Jacob's Ladder
Colias occidentalis, Western Sulphur or Golden Sulphur Butterfly

Arisaema triphyllum, Jack in the Pulpit
Zizia aurea, Golden Alexander
Felis catus, Henry
While not a conventional yard or garden set-up, am thankful the interesting array of plants that we have, and the critters that come to visit.
