 The Second Sunday in September is National Pet Memorial Day.

We have urns and boxes for the cremains of our celestial cats.

Photos of all are strewn about Eastside Cats also, as well as here on this blog.

Hugs and purrs as you grieve your missing furry one.

 America honors the military personnel who've given their lives today, the last Monday in May.

Memorial Day.

Today, we honor those who didn't come home, and the loved ones who grieve.

A wave of missing The PO'M hit me so hard yesterday afternoon, that it took my breath away.

The daily hours I spent in his presence are now used for reading or surfing the interwebs.

Less time being outside, in the gardens, breathing the air, communing with nature.

The backyard is empty now.

Was hoping the PO'Marathon would help shed the deep loneliness that I feel.

Maybe yes, maybe no: time will tell.
