Leaf Me Alone

It's PO'Monday!

August 26, 2013, and Celestial Paddy was enjoying the garden, framed by big hosta leaves.
Fun fact:

The hosta leaves have holes in them, the result of hail storm damage earlier that year.

So Rudely

It's PO'Monday!

September 30, 2016, Celestial Paddy O'Malley was snoozing under the broad leaves of the hosta plants.

That is, until I started to snap pictures:
Snoozing.
"You woke me up!"
"Rude!  I'm outta here...!"
Sorry, not sorry!

Seriously, methinks it's impossible for a cat to NOT get it's 14-16 hours of sleep each day, hmmm????

Sleepy

It's PO'Monday, and in July, 2014, Celestial Paddy was sleepy, eyelids half closed, in the warm temperatures:
Napping in the shade of hosta leaves.

Stretched out on the cool walkway.

Napping with his feral friend Celestial Sammy in the shade of the maple tree.

Angel Sammy: 6/12/14

Today is the anniversary of Angel Sammy earning his wings and flying off to The Rainbow Bridge.

Sammy was a master at being comfortable, shown here as he hid under the shady leaves of a hosta plant to escape the hot weather.

Appears like he's wearing a Carmen Miranda-type hat, no?
Using Lunapic, I jazzed the image up a bit, in an effort to disguise the neighbor's paint peels.

We miss you, Angel Sammy.

Bummer, Dude...

Patty O'Malley does not look very happy now that Autumn has arrived!  To be honest, I have never witnessed him hiding in the hosta plants like this. Don't worry; I gave him a long, loving cuddle and snuggle fest before I left for work!

Cool Shade

Can you see Mia in there?

Sammy stayin' cool

Mellow Patty
The temps went up!  The humidity went up!  The 'O' cats hid in whatever shade they could find...well, except for Patty who just hangs out.  Can you see Mama Mia's little green eyes peeking out from the hosta plants?  She is a master at blending in, don't you think?
