Boldly

It's Hopefully-Soon-to-be-Formerly Feral Friday*!

*Totally stolen from John @ I Have Three Cats.

Henry continues to push the envelope.
Rolling on the rug, playing with toys.
Comfy human mattress? He gave it a lash.
Henry's Heaty Bed (was Sweetie's Spa) now in use!
Henry is investigating, poking his nose into new crevices, and meowing for attention in the early morning.

Bolding going where he's not been before, and he is so darn cute!

I want to smooch his sweet noggin and give his fur a brush...but must resist these urges for now.

Patience.

Time will tell.

Patience

It's Sweetnesday!

Taken in July, 2009, Sweetie was so shy.

Ten years later, August 2019, this happened!
Trust me, I was choked with emotion here.

A decade had passed, and Sweetie was happy to be so close to a human.

We also believe that Celestial Paddy O'Malley helped Sweetie gain her confidence; she watched him interact with us, and decided she wanted some of that for herself.

Now with Henry, we must rely on Manny and Chili Bruce to show her that their humans are okay, and were pleased when she interacted with them at the open back door as I shared in yesterday's post.

Sweetie taught us patience, didn't she?

Woofie Wednesday

Maverick has one ear up, Macey's ears are up or down

Maverick
My co-worker's new puppies are the CUTEST!  Even though I had her convinced that it was time for CATS, her husband went out and found these two babies instead.  I LURV German Shepherds, and am enjoying watched these two grow via photos.  Hope to meet them someday in purrson...er, um...pawson?

And thank you all for the well-wishes.  36 years is a really long time, but I'm not that old...must be some fuzzy math involved!  Chucky perked up again; he greeted me this morning, meowing for brekkie, and my heart truly leaped with the joy of it!  If we can keep him eating, then we can keep him here on Earth for that much longer.  No food interests him when he's in that stage; trust me, we've tried everything.  The Hubby says patience and love are the key, and I agree with him.
