This morning, I found a whole family of snails, and I put out sustenance for them:

Another member of the family,
crawling over to join in the feast! |

| "Huh? Wait a minute...what?" |
 |
| "Sorry, snails...mealtime was abruptly cut short!" |
 |
| "Oh, Patty!" |
The snail family was happily eating their kibble, until a VERY well-fed cat named Patty O'Malley decided that he didn't like the attention that I was bestowing on some critters other than himself, and he ATE THAT KIBBLE!
