Snailed It!

You think I'm just in love with cats...and crickets!  Oh contraire, mon frere!  I also feed the snails in my yard.  I give them pieces of the 'O' Cats' kibble, and they slowly spin the kibble 'round and 'round as they snack on the edges.  I pick up worms that are laying on the sideway long after a rain, and drop them into the grass too, so they don't shrivel up and perish.  Crickets, snails and worms are living things, so I'll treat them as nicely as I can.

By the way, my office cricket count is now up to five!

PeeEss: Raena's doin' better today. She had a small incision and only 3 stitches which will dissolve on their own. 'Course mommy is keepin' an eye on them to make sure they do. Raena licks and cleans all 'round herself, except right there. Mommy says it's cuz it's tender and her tongue hurts her. But mommy makes sure dat it's clean and healin' up purropurrly. Fanks fur askin'.

    Luv ya'

  4. Ah, yes...a fellow critter lover! We had a toad that lived under one of our shrubs. Had to look for him every time we mowed. He'd chill on the porch until we were done.

  5. OMC, our mom's the same way! That's why we hardly ever get to eat anything we catch (bugs, we mean). And William was a true snail fan! Just search for snail on our blog and you'll get to see all his posts and pictures of his pals!
