Godzilla!

Godzilla originated as the relic species of an organism whose evolution from an oceanic reptile into a land animal was interrupted by thermonuclear testing in the Pacific Ocean, the effects of which caused it to turn into a monster.

Its name is derived from the legendary "Gojira" beast of Odo Island.

The first Godzilla film was released November 3, 1954.

Toho Films have released 33 films so far, and Hollywood has made six to date.

And there are Godzilla TV shows too.

A few sillies to celebrate this great monster!
Thanks all for your kind comments on yesterday's post.

Chili Bruce is still very hissy, and growls at his brofur Manny for no apparent reason, yet his eating behavior is back to normal.

Da Boyz continue to nap together in a cuddle puddle, so their relationship is okay; we humans, however, are concerned about the added hostility that rears its head.

It's a bit of monster-style action that we've not encountered until now.
Image snapped about an hour after a hissy/growly session.
Manny is left, CB is right.

  1. Maybe the problem is with Manny not being well but hiding it. If CB is picking up on that it may be upsetting him. If it continues it might be worth having both checked.

  2. Dad said he used to love watching those Godzilla movies when he was little. Again, we hope things continue to improve between the boys and everything is okay with CB.

  3. Certainly hope that CB doesn't have some kind of hidden problem. Maybe I will continue to work out now that he's eating again.

Glad Chili Bruce is back to eating.
Let's hope those are not outlets caused by any pain or discomfort...

    1. I hadn't thought of him looking like the creature from "Aliens", but you're right, guys: the 1998 version was abysmal. The Japanese versions are best, but I think the mark was hit with the 2014 film, too: big and lumbering, not caring about what got in his way.

  9. This behaviour by CB is disturbing; I am glad it is diminishing, but is something to keep an eye on, nonetheless. I dislike disruptions in the routine as much as my cats do. But I like Godzilla...

  10. In that first one, I bet the cat would win!

  12. Heeheehee! Godzilla is certainly a popular figure.

I hope Chili Bruce chills out, or you can somehow work out what's going on.
