Looking, wondering

Some recent critters caught while I walk my 'hood:

A stray who has at least two humans feeding him/her.

Loki, an inside only kitty.

This guy has been around for years and is very skittish.

These squirrels were snacking on the pumpkins.

For some reason, King Sly decided to recline under the bench rather than upon it.

A handful of fallen leaves.

We wait for each city, county, and state to tabulate votes.

Our country is still young when compared to so many others, and maybe we are still wet-behind-the-ears, but you cannot doubt our determination to do things our way.

And there are a lot of doubts, with questions about policies, and international intrigue, and support or denial of what other sovereign countries are doing.

Nothing is pretty; it's all gritty and hard-fought.

So, let's buckle our safety belts; we are in for a wild ride.
