Some recent critters caught while I walk my 'hood:

A stray who has at least two humans feeding him/her.

Loki, an inside only kitty.

This guy has been around for years and is very skittish.

These squirrels were snacking on the pumpkins.

For some reason, King Sly decided to recline under the bench rather than upon it.

Da Boyz are so alike, and yet different.

This cheeky squirrel was all over me this afternoon!  He took begging to new heights, in my opinion.

Could this be the same squirrel that jumped on my car hood in January (see post here) or visited my picnic table in August (see post here)?

All I know, is that today my sandwich was already eaten, so I had nothing to give this crazy squirrel. I do not agree with feeding wildlife (HA!  I feed stray cats, right?!?), but I would have tossed this guy something if I would have had it.  It's been a fairly mild winter so far, little squirrely, so I think you are doing okay.

Note to self: stash a bag of seeds in the console!  If I'm going to visit a park that is a squirrel heaven at lunch, I had better be prepared in the future.

Same Squirrel?

Shot this video yesterday, when a pretty but cheeky squirrel tried to convince me to share some of my lunch.  Is this the same squirrel that eyed me through my car windshield in March?

Hmm...hard to tell.  Same park, so could be the same squirrel.  Thoughts?

One last tail flick...

A begging squirrel jumped on the car hood, while I was enjoying my lunch today.  The park is less than a mile from my office, and the sun was bright and inviting, but I stayed inside.  When this cheeky squirrel realized his cuteness wasn't scoring any yummies from me, he scampered away with a final tail flick.  I think he flipped me off with that tail!

Am sending purrs and warm thoughts to the folks on the East Coast whose lives are disrupted by the snow storm.  Stay safe, y'all!
