Trills

November 30 is St. Andrew's Day in Scotland, and for the global Scottish diaspora.

How' bout some silly bagpipe cartoons to celebrate?

A personal note:

Years ago, The Hubby and I attended a jazz festival.

As we walked toward the site of the festival, we encountered the most beautiful bagpipe music.

We guessed that someone was practising in a nearby parking garage, and the music moved my soul unexpectedly.

I began to cry.

Not in sorrow, but like I'd come home; something familiar.

Never discovered the bagpiper, nor the song that was played...nor why there was bagpiping at a jazz festival.

A very unique moment for me.

It's Selfie Sunday!

Henry took up the Sunday Selfie challenge, making sure he included his much-loved toys.

  1. There are certainly moments when you hear beautiful music that just strikes the Heartstrings. And looking at Henry, I would say he also strikes the heartstrings.

  3. Some pipers can play wonderful music on them, most of what I have heard has been a dirge. I guess that piece you heard must have had many entranced.
Great selfie, and love your toy zone set up. I hope the staff let you keep them out and dont tidy them away all the time like they do here ;)
