Briney

November 14 is National Pickle Day.

Oooh, I adore pickles, and have collected a few sillies from social media that made me laugh:

This one is for you, Ellen Pilch @ 15andMeowing!

Y'all go enjoy a pickle or three today.

Acquisitions

Guess I had money burning a hole in my pocket, when I visited Art Birmingham last weekend:
Greeting cards by LR Design
Black cat lithograph by Jay Wennersten
Da Boyz received a package from The Tooth Fairy, after losing teefs recently:
Thank you, Tooth Fairy Ellen!
I hate running low on anything, especially cat food.  However, I may have gone too far this time:
The Hubby asked Da Boyz if they were having a par-tay, as their Mammy really stocked up.

Such a comedian...
So very thankful to be able to indulge my entire family, and have friends who send gifts.

It's Official! "Prancie's Prayer" is at The Library!

Cover

Inside, with cute cartoon images!

More of the story...

Marjorie Kinzy, Youth Services Librarian
Mount Clemens Public Library
We all have a friend in the cat blogosphere in Ellen Pilch, at 15 and Meowing Blog, and I am so happy that she's had her first children's book published!  I purchased a copy of "Prancie's Prayer", and donated it to our local public library for the children to enjoy.  Saving homeless cats is a terrific story to teach young'uns!

Concatulations to Ellen on her book, and we certainly hope that she publishes more!

Disclaimer: I purchased this book with my own funds, and donated it with no strings attached to my local library; I will receive no tax write-off nor get my name posted on the library website!  I believe that this is a charming book, and that children need to read it...or have it read to them!  No More Homeless Pets!
👏😸👏
Special thanks to Marjorie Kinzy for graciously posing with "Prancie's Prayer in the Children's Area of the Mount Clemens Public Library.

Happy Birthday, EP from 15 And Meowing!

Ellen is the kindest cat mama on the planet, and today is her birthday!  Over time, she's gifted Eastside Cats with multiple items, including handmade catnip mats, crocheted toys of all kinds of designs, and even shared medicinal supplies.  She helps me as a blogger too, and I want to thank her for her support, and wish her the happiest of days!  But darn her really tough jigsaw puzzles...grrr...

Images of her toys found this morning strewn about our house:

There are fish-shaped toys and lozenge ones too, only I couldn't find them!  Probably under the furniture, and stuck in corners that only cats can traverse...and are covered in dust and cat fur...

Pink Ball

We received a surprise package from 15 And Meowing.com, which contained several cool things, including this pink ball that Angel took to immediately.  Thank you, Ellen...the pickle story is adorable!

Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah!
