Monday O'Malley Musts

When I sit, The PO'M must sit on my lap, and I'd better keep petting him or else!

As I do, he licks his chest over and over again.

When I walk in the yard, The PO'M must follow me, to snoopervise my actions.

Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, we had sunshine. 🌞

The leaves are still wet from recent snow and rain; once dry, we'll mulch some with the lawnmower, and then rake some into the gardens.  We also leave a portion in the yard for the critters that overwinter underneath their protection.

You may notice that The PO'M looks a bit miffed in both of these images; Sweetie and I were having a love fest of petting and such, and Mr. Green-Eyes was unhappy with the lack of attention to his handsomeness.  But don't worry; he received the lion's share of snuggles all-in-all!

My recent post here, I detailed the information that I received from Linda Roberts the animal communicator, and had some terrific comments!  Many folks would LURV to be able to hear the thoughts of their cats.

Turns out, I'm enrolling in a day-long class on September 14, in Midland, Michigan, to learn how to do just that!  Here's the blurb form the Ways To Wellness website:

State Of Emergency

***Michigan Governor declares State of Emergency ahead of extreme cold temperatures***

This is my DIY feral cat feeding station windbreak.
Made from found foam core sheets.

I cut pieces to size, punched holes in the foam core, and zip-tied the whole thing to the card table, that is our feeding station.

The PO'M enjoys my lap!

Sweetie took to the feeding station improvement in a trice; she rushed right in and put her nose in the bowl.  The PO'M was hesitant, but he goes in once I've walked away.  The idea was to keep the frigid wind from blowing on them while they nosh.  In addition, the three-sided barrier prevents snow from swirling in, which I'm sure isn't pleasant on their paws.

This moment, my supervisor is considering closing the office for tomorrow, due to the extreme weather.  I already advised him that I'll be leaving a couple hours early each day, to get home to feed Sweetie and Paddy when the sun is still up.  That's the best I can do.

The PO'M Tuesday

Someone was a bit wriggly this morning, and yet I managed to snap a few images before climbing into The Cat Car for today's commute.

Oh, how I love this cat!  Am also loving the fact that our temperatures have been not too cold, and very little precipitation.  I worry about The PO'M and Sweetie so!  And Winter hasn't even started yet!!!!! 🙀
