Postcards from NYC: Central Park

We walked and rambled through Central Park every day last week; it was always a delight, being a feast for the eyes.

We walked miles along the paths, enjoyed the dog walkers with their pups, and my sister and I had really great conversations while making our way around.

Although it was brisk, our exercise kept us warm.

And at no time did we feel unsafe while there.

'Hood Convos

As I walk around our neighborhood:

Me: "Good Morning!"

Neighbor: "The cats just knocked over a plant and we're cleaning it up!"

Me: "Oh!"

A plant knocker-over: Buttercup

Me: "Hello, just visiting my friend."

Neighbor, to other neighbor: "That's Sly's girlfriend."

Me: "Hehehe!"

Handsome Sly

The Hubby: "I saw your black-and-white friend while I was out yesterday."

Me: "Who?"

The Hubby: "You know, the kitty that you talk about."

Me: "Ah, that's Star."

Star, my friend.

Some sad news:

Sunny Tabby

PO'Monday!

 Although it's bright and sunny, the temperatures are cold.  The PO'M likes to sit on my lap and drowse.  

My effort at being a convenient cat bed wars with my personal need to be warm, but I tough it out, as The PO'M is a somewhat oversized heaty pad...

I often conduct phone conversations while he rests in my lap like this.

We all are hopeful for warmer days ahead.
