The '8bit' filter was, like, wild man...then I added a frame.

Wednesday Switch

After reviewing my handiwork yesterday on the office credenza, I realized that the frames were all wrong, and I switched them.  Better, I think!  Quint's artwork kind of got lost with the pale frame, but it looks great on the watercolor.

And, I rubbed some of this holistic cream on Patty O'Malley's back wound this morning; you can see that he doesn't care as long as he gets hugged!  No photos of his boo-boo, but he apparently was bitten and an abscess formed.  He licked all the fur off of the area, and now there is only a big sore left, which is healing nicely.  But I rubbed some cream on it anyhow, and told him to leave it alone and not lick it off!  Do you think he'll listen to me?  The Hubby advised that he broke up a fight between Patty and some other cat on our porch last night, before I got home from work.  No details on the other cat since it was dark, but if he (of course, it's a he!) keeps messing with Patty, I will set out my traps for a neutering.  I wonder if this fighter cat just wants to use a shelter to sleep in?  We will keep an eye out.

Yep, I found another cool cat photo frame while at the resale shop on Saturday!  Ssshhh...don't tell The Hubby!  He thinks it's 'weird' that I have so many cat frames. Oh, but he can sit on his keister all day to watch TV images of men running around after, a) basketballs (Congrats to the Cleveland Cavaliers!), b) baseballs, c) soccer balls, d) golf balls, or e) tearing apart old, rusty automobiles and repainting, repairing, and re-engine-ing them.  Like any of that is more fun than my cat photos!

Office Cat Collection

Yep, my photo collection at the office keeps growing!  (Except for a kid photo of The Hubby, in the center.)  I also pin cat images to my board, and my favorite is from FatCatArt entitled "Leonardo da Vinci, Mona Lisa, True Version".  So even when I am away from my furr babies, I continue to enjoy their fuzzy faces!

Score!

Received early Christmas presents from my co-worker, and boy, does she know what I like!  The book, "Sorry, I Barfed On Your Bed" by Jeremy Greenberg is an adorable set of essays by kitties who are trying to live a cat life in human homes.  I also received a very cool photo frame; it says, "Love My Cat"!

AND...My very own Quint painting has arrived!  Go to Colehaus Cats to see all the neato artwork that Quint creates, plus a terrific blog by the kitties mom.  I chose Quint's painting of Spring, because it's my favorite time of the year.

I am so excited to have this cat booty!  Thank you, CD for the gifts, and to Colehaus Cats for the painting!

But wait...there's more!  I purchased a big cat pillow over the weekend, and used an old box to make a new beddy for Chuck, up on the bookcase. Actually, I thought it would suit Angel's black-and-white fur perfectly, but once Chuck found it, he claimed it as his!  That old Gateway box is a hoot; cannot believe it's been kicking around the house for all these years.  We all certainly SCORED this week, with great cat stuff all around!
