26 October is National Pumpkin Day

And in honor of Bat Week 24/10 to 31/10, a pollen covered bat!

The best thing about pumpkins for me?

🎃TOASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS!🎃

I can eat handfuls of them; squash seeds too.

Blessed Samhain

The All Saints' Day celebration was also called All-hallows or All-hallowmas (from Middle English Alholowmesse meaning All Saints' Day) and the night before it, the traditional night of Samhain in the Celtic religion, began to be called All-Hallows Eve and, eventually, Halloween.

Some black cat Halloween decorations in our 'hood:

Happy Halloween, y'all!

10/26 is National Pumpkin Day

It's also Sweetnesday!

Not hip to pumpkins herself, Queen Sweetie allowed some ridiculousness to happen in her general area.

You know what I like about pumpkins?

Roasted pumpkin seeds!!!

Waiting for me to lay down

Da Boyz and I spent a lot of time together over the long Thanksgiving weekend.

I lay supine on the futon, covered in a blanket, with my audiobook earbuds in.

Manny and Chili Bruce would climb aboard to nap!

The Hubby watched TV in the other room, while I finished three books, and enjoyed my role as cat bed.

Cats at the Office

See the little tail with a white tip?

She's got a cat face on her shirt

We held our annual trick-or-treat party for employee's children, and few cutie kitty cats showed up!  Aren't they just darling?  I was also gifted with a decorated pumpkin...with a kitty cat face!  How cool!
