Gutter downspout at driveway |
In the corner of The Cat Hotel's wind break (commonly called an old window...) |
In the corner of Sweetie's cardboard box |
The PO'M: "Are you two hiding any walnuts in there?" Manny and Chili Bruce: "What's a walnut? Want to come in and play?" The PO'M: "Sorry, boyz, but I'm a big, bad outdoor cat!" |
Even Angel gets into the squirrels and their nuts action!

Squirrels are evil, Angel. They are. Cute but evil.

Dad's neighbour has a black walnut tree that hangs over Dad's yard. We pick black walnuts up all fall, and then put them out for the squirrels during the winter. It's great entertainment for the cats and dogs!
ReplyDeleteRecently I watched a squirrel hide something in the spiderwort around my neighbor's garage downspout. I had the idea that squirrels actually bury their stashes in the ground...
ReplyDeleteYeah, the squirrels are nuts this time of year. MOL!
ReplyDeleteAngel, I know you sent put notices on the ethernet to all of us? My mommy just got home so she will help me start to read and respond. Her had a good time away from me!
ReplyDeleteThose squirrels can be very creative!
ReplyDeleteOur squirrels are lazy! I just see them lying around or chasing each other. Less than enterprising.
ReplyDeleteThose black walnut husks are HUGE!! Our squirrels used to throw acorns at us. They'd have surely knocked us out with a black walnut husk! MOL! (Our new yard does not have squirrels much to Pierre's dismay)
ReplyDeleteIt's like an Easter egg hunt at your place!
ReplyDeleteHiding food s a really great idea. I wonder if I could start storing chunks of tuna around here?
ReplyDeleteGlad Angel is having fun. Those squirrels have been busy.
ReplyDeleteThose squirrels are so funny! They are entertaining in many ways :-)
ReplyDeleteFaith used to watch the squirrels and than one day one got in while Gramma was hanging wash. Faith ran like a bat outta hell.
