It's PO'Monday!
It's that time of year, when the trees are still giving up their leaves, and snow comes along.

Winter is my least favorite season, primarily due to my years of caring for outside cats.
The cold, the wind, the ice, and in the back of my mind was the feeling that I was a poor cat-enthusiast, leaving my 'guests' outside in such conditions.
Saturday's light snowfall had me wanting to get out to shovel the deck.
Old habits.
He was such a handsome boy and so fortunate to have you caring for him through the winters.
ReplyDeleteI know you loved him so much. He was a most handsome mancat.

ReplyDeleteYep, we don't care for any weather that messes up things for our ferals.

ReplyDeleteSweet PO'M. Bless him and you.
ReplyDeleteOver thirty years ago, I had a couple of 'yard kitties', too...they showed up in the winter...so I provided them with a heated 'nest' in my back porch...and in the spring they presented us with kittens! I had to work hard to find new homes for all of them...they did not want to come inside to be *our* kitties...sadly enough. But they loved the attention and noms they got. I only have some non digital pics of them...
ReplyDeleteI too have to shovel the back patio...but for pups, not kitties! And when its very bad, I have to make paths in the grassy areas...for the doggy business dept.
I think the PO'M was grateful for your care and love:)
We think Paddy will let you know if you have to start shoveling the deck again. 🐈
ReplyDeleteYou are great caregivers. ~hugs~ Best wishes, my dear.
