Chili Bruce isn't much for my reading when I should be admiring him!

Years ago, a dear friend suggested the book, "Outlander" to me, believing that I'd enjoy it.

I scoffed, ignored the advice, and read other books.

Until a few months ago, that is.

Once I started reading the stories, I didn't stop until I'd read all available books in the series: eight, and then read the novellas and side series books by the author.

And then, I watched the DVD's of the television show.

When Book #9 was published, I put my name on the library list to get a copy...and it's arrived!

One grows with the characters, and lives with them, especially books of over 900 pages.

Too bad I have a full-time job, otherwise I'd read all day, every day.

As how this relates to cats, well, there is one cat in the storyline, Adso, who owns the main characters, Jamie and Clair.

And you can tell that Chili Bruce has an opinion on reading, see image above.

Am thankful for good books, good characters, good writers, and libraries!

  1. Nothing better than good books. I fall in love with some of the characters and hate others. I do read all the time, but I'm retired.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

  10. Am headed to our tv tonight with mama and papa and also will open the book again for mama as mama tried and failed to continue the book because of work interruption. Merci! Chili Bruce has the moves, haha.
