Tracks

Saturday morning was cold!

22 degrees F was the air temp, but the wind was icy despite the sunshine.

We had flurries too, and besides my own footprints, there were these:
Paw prints

While on my 'hood walk, a black cat crossed the street ahead of me, and walked up a driveway.

I witnessed the kitty from about 1/2 block away, and managed to see the cat's tailio slide underneath a construction tarpaulin in someone's backyard when I got there.

We were at least 1/2 mile from home, so this wasn't the black kitty that's been in our yard...I think.

  3. You are braver than me taking a walk in the cold air we had here on Saturday in the snow. I don't think I'll be going out again today with the high wind. And I miss it.

  4. Hmm, my dad says of the several walks he took in the snow this past week, twice he noticed a snowblower chugging along directly in front of him...

  6. I saw what I think is a new cat in my neighbourhood, too, though it was just a flash as he fled.

  7. It makes one worry to see kitties out in the elements like this... Hoping they find some shelter and food!

  8. I saw paw prints outside, too, and can only hope the animal found shelter. A short haired black cat appeared outside our house the other day and I panicked for a moment over the resemblance to our Terra Dactyl. lol Best wishes!
