Shadowy

On Groundhog's Day in 2010, The 'O' Cats were checking their shadows:
Hobo didn't see his.
Nada for Sammy.
The PO'M was shadowless too.
Fast forward to 2020, and Groundhog's Day has much different weather.
Sweetie was shadowy!
The PO'M's tailio has a shadow.
Somecat even had a groundhog's physique:
round!
No matter what, we'll still have six weeks of Winter, yet it's fun to ponder future warmth.

Thanks to my sis for today's Punxsutawney Pommy idea.😹

  2. We don't have groundhogs so no shadows here, and definitely none today.

  3. Oh, how welcome Spring will be!
Time in general is passing rather fast so that is good. Kitties do nap a lot—awaiting their spring weather with more fun to do things.

  9. We didn't see any shadows except cloud shadows today, until late afternoon. We're too close to Punxsutawney Phil so we always get what he gets. Your kitties are all looking at you like you've confirmed the pointless practices of humans.

  10. The cats there are as good meteorologists as any ground-hog - and even six weeks more of winter will put spring in March - right on schedule.

  11. Early warmth between now and the equinox or cold winter holding out to the bitter end is the real question the prognosticating critter is supposed to answer. What did yours say this year?
