Cuppa

International Tea Day is celebrated on December 15, in tea producing countries like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Uganda and Tanzania.

As an international tea drinker, I'll celebrate despite not actually residing in any of the above countries, and am darn glad that they grow the stuff!

Time For Tea

The first International Tea Day was held in New Delhi, India in 2005, and is celebrated annually in tea producing countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Uganda and Tanzania.

The United Nations established a separate International Tea Day on May 21 in 2019 to commemorate the signing of the First International Tea Agreement.

Two Tea Day Holidays?

That's okay with me!

I love my Earl Grey tea, but must limit how much I drink each day due to caffeine levels.

When I really want to be rebellious, however, I have two cups of Earl Grey. 😹

Bonus Tea Day

International Tea Day has been celebrated on December 15, since 2005, in tea producing countries like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Uganda and Tanzania.

21 May is also International Tea Day.

Okay with me; I ❤️ tea.

Earl Grey and Moroccan Mint Tea are my favorites.
