Sweetie Lovin'

Pre-pet session location...

...and she's off!

Sweetie has become a real love bug, and now she even ignores Patty O'Malley when he tries to get possessive.  It's hard to take photos when you are petting a cat, but here are a few of me and Sweetie being friends.

Sweetie fur...

...all over my shirt!

Often, I sit at the top of the steps, and Sweetie head bunts my back, and rubs up on my body and arms.  Try to get a photo of that!  All the evidence I have managed so far is my shirt covered in Sweetie's black furrs.  We even managed a brushing, and the sounds of her cooing are magic to my ears!

Patty does NOT always like the attention that I give to Sweetie, as he thinks I belong to him. Sweetie has figured out that Patty does not seem to care if I pet her instead of him, when it's the last visit of the night, so that's when we usually have ourselves a love fest before my bedtime.  

This morning, however, she tried it in the bright sunshine, and I got two pant legs of cat fur before I drove off.

The hubby coined a new phrase this morning, as he petted Chucky who was purring like mad.

I like this!  Apparently, the human is enjoying the feel of the cat's fur and the rumble of the purr, while kitty is all blissed out because he's laying there!
