It's a Shame

Oh, the indignities of being a pampered housecat at Eastside Cats.

One's daily routines are caught on camera.

Chili Bruce, caught mid-yawn.

Manny, showing off his underwear.

Henry, while draped across my body, endures some noggin scritches; he really butts his head into one's hand!

They really have it rough around here.

Henry health update:

Henry is doing well, despite the loose stool he had a few days ago.

AND we will never ever ever ever NOT give him his appetite stimulant, 'cause he goes from 90 mph in slurping his food to nothing, zero eating in the blink of an eye.

And my heart cannot take when he doesn't eat.

The veterinarian says it's okay to continue the appetite stimulant and the anti-nausea meds indefinitely, so they remain in the rotation.

Chemo pill #5 of 10 total will be administered this Tuesday.

Lovey Dovey

It's Inside and Less Feral Friday!

Ta-DA!

Henry likes pets; video below:

Thank you for the feedback on last week's post: Up The Wall.

Henry has not done 'it' in a week; could be that having his fur stroked and combed will smooth out his anxiety?

Those pee pads will remain in place for some time yet; let's just see how it goes.

EDIT: Yeah, he high-peed last night...that'll show me. 😹

Cannot convince Henry to jump up on the bed; bending over is hard on our backs, dude, so c'mon up!

Henry is also hanging around my feet as I work at my desk, and I scratch his ears and noggin as often as I can.

Baby paw steps.

Henry is such a cutie!

🐾🐾🐾

Where'd it go?

 It's H. S. T. B. F. F. Friday!

About 6 seconds into this video, Henry losses his toy.

Then he's got to figure out where it went to!

Finally, he finds it, then bunny kicks it like crazy.

What an entertaining kitty.

Forward

It's H.S.T.B.F.F. Friday!

Henry follows me now:

And Action Henry!

Video shot while Henry lay at my feet, as I sat in our old rocking chair.

He's got a fast paw, however, when I reach out to give him a pat.

Yet, I've managed a few touches here and there, and will continue to move this boundary forward.

Expanding

Henry has begun to branch out in his exploration of his world:

#1 Peeping.

#2 Hiding in the linen closet

Here, he's stepped out to look nonchalant.

#3: Napping under the dresser.

He's now here all day.

Celestial Sweetie used the same location.

More progress for Henry, H.S.T.B.F.F.*

Trackball Education

Henry's trackball learning curve:

Well, that's not exactly playing!

He's learned to use the center scratching pad, but Henry's trackball action needs some work!

Aha!  He's got it...mostly....

So very thankful for Henry, and are looking forward to more of his adventures into housecathood.

Activity

Hopefully-soon-to-be-formerly-feral Friday

We have action in Henryville.

Henry has been exploring new territory.

Working on his 'I'm so cute that I deserve a snack" look.

Playtime!

Henry really loves that silverine stick,

Henry Sings

Henry has found her voice.

Isn't it darling?

So thankful that she's finding her role as an Eastside Cats 'O' Cat.
