It's Inside Feral Friday at Henryville!

Henry is fully recovered from his dental over week ago.

The Hubby and I feel recovered also.

Did I mention that the veterinarian projected that Henry could lose ALL OF HIS TEETH, and when I was told he's only lost two, we were pretty surprised...and very pleased.

Cats with FIV can have dental issues, and his gums looked rough a year ago, so the vet tech told me.

Guess having two square meals, water, litter boxes, toys, and humans who babytalk helped Henry's mouth to simmer down.

Yep, he's still very attached to his spring toys.

Yes, it's now time to drop the "Hopefully Soon To Be" section from H. S. T. B. F. F.

And do you know why?

October 18, 2024 was Henry's first day inside at Eastside Cats!

That makes tomorrow his 1st Gotchaversary.

Below is the very first photo that we took of Henry, from January 2024:

Once the colder weather started in October, 2024, The Hubby and I decided that our outside visitor needed to come inside.

Our trusty drop trap did the trick, and Bob's your uncle, Henry is an inside cat!

Recent developments:

He allows me to hold his tailio tip, as he leads me to his food bowl.

He kicks his toys at my feet, so I will toss them back to him.

While either human is bathing in our antique claw-foot bathtub, Henry wanders around the bathroom.

We love you, Henry, and here's to many more Gotchaversaries!

Spring toys at the top!

Way back in August, Sawyer from The Cat On My Head Blog reported that he'd recently learned to play with spring toys, and when I commented that maybe Da Boyz might enjoy springs too, they mailed us a few, plus a handful of other coolio toys!

I've been trying since then to snap photos of Manny racing after his favorite spring toy (yellow), or Chili Bruce batting his around (blue), but all you can see are blurs of action.
