Bonks

It's Inside Feral Friday at Henryville!

And looky looky...

Henry just cannot help but bonk bonk bonk my shins, and he was busy enough to allow me to pet his tailio!

Henry is also purring; did you hear him?

Henry, you da MAN!

😻😻😻

P. S. Thank you for the kind comments in honor of our wedding anniversary, and for mourning Celestial Chuck.

❤️

Surprise!

It's Formerly Feral Friday!

Yes, it's now time to drop the "Hopefully Soon To Be" section from H. S. T. B. F. F.

And do you know why?

October 18, 2024 was Henry's first day inside at Eastside Cats!

That makes tomorrow his 1st Gotchaversary.

Below is the very first photo that we took of Henry, from January 2024:

Once the colder weather started in October, 2024, The Hubby and I decided that our outside visitor needed to come inside.

Our trusty drop trap did the trick, and Bob's your uncle, Henry is an inside cat!

Recent developments:

He allows me to hold his tailio tip, as he leads me to his food bowl.

He kicks his toys at my feet, so I will toss them back to him.

While either human is bathing in our antique claw-foot bathtub, Henry wanders around the bathroom.

We love you, Henry, and here's to many more Gotchaversaries!

The Next Chapter

Time for an update on H. S. T. B. F. F. Henry.

-Henry will slurp a Churu from my hand.

-He sniffs my fingers whenever I hold my hand out to him.

-Now he runs alongside whomever is carrying his food dish, with tailio up!

He really likes this rug!

Hiding under the desk while the workers were making a racket.

Discovered Henry prowling around.

The Hubby and I discuss Henry every day; he reacts to each of us just a little bit differently.

We both feel that his feral fears are subsiding, that he wants to interact but just doesn't know how to yet.

We loves himb, and Henry has all the time in the world to acclimate.

❤️ 😽 ❤️

Tail Tales

It's Sweetnesday!

Swee Wee's tailio is short, like she is.

However, she manages it like a fine accessory that adorns her demure but classic black outfit.

Draped over the edge of The Sweetie Spa.

Straight out!

With a genteel curve.

Sweetie is doing well with her meds, and I've become a dab hand at presenting her gushy stinky food just the way she likes it: as thick soup!

Now that we are feeding four cats, it's easy to crack open two cans of food, mix the batch in one bowl, then distribute even portions all 'round.

Sweetie's portion, however, is doled out over time; she doesn't like a big bowlful anymore; rather, as she eats until one can see the bottom of the bowl, I 'replace' a few spoonfuls and 'fluff' it all up, as if it's a brand new meal.

She's eating, drinking water, using her litterpan, and waking me early almost every morning now, which are all good things.

❤️ Love her to bits ❤️

Many Colored Coat

It's PO'Monday!

December, 2014, and Celestial Paddy O'Malley's various fur colors seem to change from image to image.

And some photobombing tailio action too! 😹

Smoky

Michigan, our fair state, has been a target for the Canadian wildfires smoke.

Heeding warnings to stay inside, I've been enjoying some extra 'quality' time, with the cats.

Sweetie's bum

More Sweetie bum!

We are all very upset by the toll the fires are taking on the forests, wildlife, property, and humans.

Let's hope there is a solution soon.

Action

For Sweetnesday Wednesday, let's show you some action!

Um...well, her tailio curled up...

...and she quite clearly exhibits her disdain for my proximity...

...Whoa!  Look at her go!

😹😺😹

Sunlit Angel

From October, 2019, Celestial caught herself in the window, as the sunshine made her ears opaque, and there's that adorable hitch at the end of her tailio.

The way her eyes are aglow is even better!
