Missing!

It's Twozday, and we had a mystery on our hands:

Manny's favorite ribbon toy DISAPPEARED!

The Hubby searched.

I searched.

I search again and again.

"Missing!
Have you seen me?"

Manny was disconsolate.
"Where, oh where are you, my ribbon?"

Finally, on a hunch, I dug through the pile of newspapers.

And there it was!

Da Boyz were giddy with relief.

Well, Manny certainly was delighted.

CB prefers the bug-on-a-string toy.

Really, how the heck does one misplace a cat toy like this?

Weird, but thankfully, the mystery was solved.

(It's a Cat Dancer Cat Charmer, technically.  CB's toy is a Neko Flies Teaser Toy, and they are both really old, having been purchased when Celestial Chuck and Angel were little.)

This toy is like a piece of tissue paper; semi-transparent,
and has a crinkly noise too.

Notice how SHORT the fabric strip is?!?
Am fairly sure this is the work of Manny, and luckily,
he coughed up the 4"-5" piece that was swallowed.
Guess this Cat Dancer Cat Charmer (like the Neko Flies wand toy)
will be drawered after play daily now.
