Seeing this reminded me of something my cat did last week. My dad was eating ham and my cat was asking for some. When my dad tried to give him some ham, my cat scratched his hand. I love my cat, but sometimes he behaves like a brat :)
Perhaps your cat wanted the ham on a fancy china plate, not just from your dad's hand! Hahahaha! (Hope the scratch wasn't too bad; I have healing and new scratches and pokes all over my body, from cats walking on my as I'm laying in bed, or should I dare to give brushies, and I get a swipe!)
