World UFO Day

👽👽👽
👽👽👽
Some of us believe we are not alone.

And even more believe that cats are really from outer space.

Can you tell what I think?
My new tshirt!
A greeting card, with lovely art
Our logo is also a big clue!

Another greeting card...
...and another!
Should you think that I've only been into outer space and such since cats came into my life...

Think again!
This is one of my old dolls, dressed as a space troll!

How will you celebrate World UFO Day?

Wear a tin foil hat, to block mind-reading beams from outer space?

Or watch some favorite science fiction films, such as:

Mars Attacks! - 1996

  2. Our Dad saw a group of 7 UFOs many years ago in Florida and could also hear the roar of the fighter jets scrambling for the chase. He's been a believer ever since.

    1. I could only pick so many! I went with the one's that I'd drop everything to rewatch, even though I've seen them all many times. The Hubby, however, has drawn the line on "Close Encounters"...he refuses to watch it again! "Paul" and "Galaxy Quest" are hilarious!

  7. You are speaking to the converted! I love your photos today! I used to like putting Nellie Bellie in photo-collages where she looked like an Alien, as a lilac point Siamese, her face was purrfect. Marv is cute, but he always looks like hes laughing.

  9. Everyone thought Pop was going to be an astronaut when he was growing up. He still loves reading about other planets and space exploration which explains why I won Sammy's contest on designing a space suit years ago.

  13. I definitely don't believe we are alone. Years ago when I was shutting the bedroom curtains I saw a bright light in the sky. There was no beam coming from it so it wasn't a hovering helicopter with a searchlight as Ivor thought. I went into the garden for a better look. We live in the country so have no light pollution at night. It was bigger and brighter than I had first thought, or maybe it had moved nearer. There was absolutely no sound. I watched for about half an hour when suddenly the light split and went into opposite directions. The speed it moved was unbelievably fast. I am convinced I had been watching two UFOs, or maybe one and a second launched from the original. A friend of ours had a very close encounter as a child. If you want to know more about it I can email you.

  14. This post is a hoot, though I know many humans take UFOs very seriously. Dad says I could very well be an alien, but he knows I feel the same about him. Dad and I love that t-shirt especially! Happy 4th weekend!!

  15. OH this is right up my alleyway. I love all things Space and you named many of my favorite shows that I watch every chance I get. I am a hard core Trekkie, and I can't get enough of Star Trek, TOS. I do like TNG after they got the kinks worked out...say from the second year. onward But I have and will re-watch it all. All iterations.
