Sweetnesday!
While I work over a hot keyboard, Sweetie naps.
Oops, I woke her up! |
Now, she's purring and kneading. |
This is the view from my desk; Sweetie has it made in the shade! |
On Monday, since it was a day off from work, I pretended to be a cat, and napped in the late morning, then again in the afternoon.
It was hot outside, and muggy, so other than avoiding chores, why not be a cat for a day?
😹😺😹
You can be a cat any old day, you've earned the right!
ReplyDeleteBeing a cat for a day is a wonderful thing to do. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

ReplyDeleteI've been a cat for most of this week so far. We're worn out from working on the house all week, and yesterday morning, we got our second COVID shots. Definitely a good excuse for lazing about!
ReplyDeleteI'm finding I'm acting more like a cat since I've retired. I take lots of naps.
ReplyDeleteI've always said that in my next life, I'm coming back as a cat owned by me. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteSweetie you got her trained! Well!
ReplyDeleteGlad Sweetie is living the life. XO
ReplyDeleteA cats life is a good one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very smart kitty-like idea! Maybe try it out EVERY day, haha. Thank you for the suggestion…where’s my kibble, mama?
ReplyDeleteI want to come back as a well cared for cat.
ReplyDeleteThat is something that sounds like a great plan. We shall hereby call it "Cat for a Day" day. We are pretty sure it will Cat-ch on
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Heh...
DeleteOh yes, always good to be a cat for a day! Sounds like a perfect day.
