17 August is Black Cat Appreciation Day!
This special day of the year is to remind us all of the value of black cats, to dispel prejudices, and to encourage people to give a new home to black cats left behind at animal shelters.
Beyond thankful to have been owned by four housepanthers, and hope we will always have one or two.
Let's Hop!
Oh, them tools of that last image!!
ReplyDeleteIf I wasn't allergic to domestic cats, (Meezers didn't cause me trouble, not sure why?), I might have had a black one or more here...they are fun and I don't understand why peeps shun them.
Here we call them lucky black cats!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. First, I was on Mimi's blog thinking I was signing into the six-word hop. Every time I clicked my picture, it wouldn't do anything, so I thought it wasn't working. Is there a way to remove my from this faut pax?
ReplyDeleteBlack cats rock!
ReplyDeleteI love every picture and every word.
ReplyDeleteWe are very pleased to have our very own first ever house panther among us now! Are they all as naughty as Benny?

DeleteBlack cats are super cool.
ReplyDeleteI've had two - the second will likely be here many years (so I hope). I don't regret taking them in, even if they are hard to find when making sure everyone is safe for the night...
ReplyDeleteLove these! Black cats sure are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so, so thankful a local cat shelter provided us with Terra and Polly Dactyl. :D They were adorable, silly kittens and remain precious, amusing adults.
