The idea was to fill the yard with native plants, so the wildlife could eat it's fill, pollinate their little hearts out, and make babies so the cycle can repeat.
The bees like the Ironweed.

A smallish groundhog pigged out on my Cup Plants and Milkweed.
Don't mind one bit; eat up, lil fella.

Even slugs are welcome!
What a lovely garden that is, welcoming to all!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
The ironweed is really pretty! I will have to get some for my garden!
ReplyDeleteGreat videos. Must be fun cat TV too.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of "native and natural", the best way to go (tho would prefer to be sans slugs) ...
ReplyDeleteThe ironweed is a lovely colour. That bee is loaded down with pollen on those little legs.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you succeeded in attracting wildlife. :) XO
ReplyDeleteHey Chili Bruce, you got lots to see out there!
ReplyDeleteYou have done a wonderful job with your garden.
ReplyDeleteAnd the wild animals inside can watch the wild animals outside...
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the wild garden. Every time you feature it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of slugs but the spots look cool. And I try to live and let live. :D Best wishes!
