"National Pet Day on April 11 dedicates the day to those pets who may not always get the companionship and attention they deserve.
While loving our pets is something we do every day, the observance encourages helping out orphaned pet companions.
It will improve their health and enhance their opportunities for adoption."

Always adopt. These kitties are the most grateful. Whether it's someone like Henry, that you can finally bring into the house, or one of the many that's at the animal shelter.
ReplyDeleteEvery adoption gives two animals a chance of a new and better life.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate pet fosters and all willing to adopt elderly animals. ~nods~ When we adopted kittens at the end of 2020, I would have as happily taken in an older kitty for a companion to aging Jezebel. The youngsters sure added a pep to her stop before she passed away, though. Thank you for sharing this message and be well, my dear.
ReplyDeleteAdoption is truly the only option.
ReplyDeleteBeautifl post. XO
ReplyDeleteThis is why I'm at the shelter two days a week, volunteering.
