We are expecting some nasty snow/sleet/rain Saturday, so my concern about Sweetie and The PO'M ratchet upward!  

Yes, they have a warm shelter, water, and food, but you know...

After this storm, the temperatures plummet for a few days.  

This is typical Michigan Winter weather, yet The 'O' Cats will always be on my mind.

Despite the storm, Angel has a veterinarian appointment Saturday morning.

She's stopped eating robustly, as she originally did when we first put her on her meds.

Keep your paws crossed that the vet has something up her sleeve, to encourage more nomming!

⭐ ANGEL!⭐

Angel's ultrasound results:

Shows increased intestinal thickness as well as markedly enlarged lymph nodes in several areas.  

Could be large cell lymphoma, small cell lymphoma, or IBD (irritable bowel disease).

Oncological biopsy would tell us exactly what she has.

The vet gave us more anti-nausea meds, B12 shots, steroids, and pain meds to administer.  She said we could try oral chemotherapy meds, once we've considered what we want to do, regardless of getting that biopsy.

Although she cannot know without tests, the vet believes it's large cell, which is aggressive, and terminal.

The Hubby and I have to discuss. 

Foremost, is Angel's comfort.

The vet tech's said that Angel was very vocal all day, ornery, and refused every flavor of food offered.  To us, there is a lot of life left in her, and none of us are ready to throw in the towel.  Once home, Angel ate well, found her favorite napping spot, and hunkered down for a rest.  She has a small shaved patch on her belly.

Thank you to everyone for every purr and wish for a good outcome.

I've hoped to meet Pawfficer Donut since January; I posted about it here.

My job is located in the fair city of Troy, Michigan, where Pawfficer Donut has her beat.  Using my lunch hour, I was 3rd in line to pet Donut, snap photos, and yak with several human police officers at a special Pawfficer Donut Meet and Greet Event!.  I even scored some terrific Troy Police Feline Unit swag.

Am I cool or what?!?  Pawfficer Donut and I are besties now!

1. Being in a constant state of anxiety, makes me nervous.

2. I should get rid of about 30,000 photos from my library of 47,500, but I can’t because each one is too special!  You could say I'm a digital photo hoarder.

3. My ideal home would include a courtyard, surrounded on all four sides by the house.  This way, the cats can be outside, in the center garden, but safe!

4. You would not find shoes in my ideal home. One could only walk around in house slippers, and leave shoes/boots at the door.
